The health history form for permanent makeup procedures is a mandatory precondition for the professional to evaluate your client's health. 


This document - yes!!! We can consider it an official document - is elaborated with questions about factors that could interfere with the permanent makeup procedures, fading, healing, and other important ones. 


It's crucial to fill it in correctly and sincerely. Only then you can identify if your client has any features whose result could be affected, like allergies, hormonal issues, smoking, and others. 

Why should you do it? 

Every client is unique, am I right? Aside from physical features, our organism differs for each person.  


Therefore, what will happen during the healing process in your client's body will not be the same for all of them. 


Each system reacts in its way, mostly while facing permanent makeup procedures. 

That said, some physical characteristics could interfere with the process.  


For instance, how could the professional know if it's necessary or not to heat our pigments (even if they are already heated)? The answer: only with the Health History Form.

The most common situations find out in the Health History Form are:

"Can warm pigments be heated?" - This is a question much heard by us at RBKollors. Not only can it heat up as it should, but only in a few specific cases that we will quote here.

Before starting, however, we need to understand what warm pigments are. No secret: they are nothing more than pigments with a greater amount of orange in their composition. The more orange, the more heated! Currently, Teacup and Hot are the hottest pigment in the RBKollors line.

All of our pigments are already factory heated, ready for use (understand the benefits of purchasing already heated pigments below). But as EVERYTHING in life there is an exception, there are some cases in which micropigmentation machines do need to heat the pigments, even though they are already being heated.

“There are many factors that can interfere with the degradation of the pigment color on the client's skin and in the healing… That is why including Hot in some procedures is essential”, says Susana Panini, manager and specialist in pigments RBKollors. According to her, some of these situations are:
  • Ingestion of little water;
  • Excessive intake of fatty and processed foods;
  • People with hormonal problems;

  • Smokers

That is why it is very important to complete the anamnesis form before the procedure and that the professional has knowledge about skin management. Thus, the micropigmenter will know which pigments to use and which is the best technique.

“For example, if I am working with Jambo on a client who has hormonal problems, I should heat up this pigment a little more so as not to run the risk of getting gray,” says Susana.
RBKollors Technical Support indicates that 20% of the total drops used in the procedure are of a heated color, such as Hot. That is: in this example given above, there would be 4 drops of Jambo and 1 drop of Hot. If the customer does not have Hot, Universal is also used to heat it up in some cases.

What are the benefits of buying already heated pigments?

The main benefit of the pigment already being heated at the factory, as is the case with RBKollors, is that it will not gray out on the client's skin after the procedure. It is important to remember that RBKollors pigments do not contain blue in the composition, so it will never be bluish.

When the base is not heated, the pigment is much more likely to be grayish or bluish on the client's skin, for example.

Why are RBKollors pigments already heated?

When Renata Barcelli, CEO and creator of RBKollors pigments, was studying mixtures to create our colors, she realized that the inks available on the market did not fit with Brazilian skin due to the tropical climate of Brazil and the miscegenation of our population, for example. These factors caused the colors to become grayish and bluish.

“A study on pigments showed that particles of blue and black colors are larger than particles of red and yellow colors. Over time, the yellow and red particles come out before the skin than the black blue particles. So the results were gray and blue ” - says Susana Panini, RBKollors pigment specialist.

Curiosities

The coolest pigment from RBKollors is Blond Light. It is used to neutralize red eyebrows, that is, eyebrows that are already heated.

Blond and Ombré 1, for example, are more neutral pigments. However, Ombré 2 is slightly warmer than Ombré 1. Universal, however, is one of the pigments with the most oranges, with 61% of its composition.
